AMMA Awards 2011

All Moscow Malayalee Association - AMMA was established in 1975. The founder President was Dr. Cherian Eapen ( a renowned technocrat and who tried to get former Soviet Union support for Kayamkulam power project) . He continued as President till the end of 1975. From early 80s till middle of 90s Dr. Raji Menon (former/founder Chairman Asianet Television) was the President. Later in 1998 Mr. Dattan Nair (Times of India Moscow) took charge and continued till 2008. From 2009 onwards Dr.Reghunathan Pillai - President DR Group of Companies Moscow is the President. Dr. Cherian Eapen is the Chief Patron and Dattan Nair the Chairman of Advisory Board of AMMA at present. Dr. Lethy Jose is the Cultural Secretary of AMMA since 1998. This is the first time AMMA has instituted Excellence Awards for Malayalaees who have excelled in various fields.
